Message:* This text can be edited.	Dear Decision Maker, As you know, the Meadowlands Xanadu project is planning on building a 287-foot Ferris wheel. As a concerned citizen I would like to express to you my utmost discontent regarding this structure. On top of the complete disregard for the environment and the natural inhabitants of the Meadowlands, the Ferris wheel is offensive to the human inhabitants of NJ - it is to have an enormous Pepsi logo in the middle of it. This logo will block the views of the magnificent New York City skyline. Even standard Ferris wheels have no center and can be seen through. The sponsors claim this Pepsi logo will become an iconic symbol for the NY/NJ Metro area, like the St. Louis Arch or the London Eye. I find this statement to be insulting to the State of New Jersey. Our iconic symbol is going to be an advertisement? According to Carl Goldberg, Chairman of the Board of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority, "Developers cannot display Pepsi's iconic red-white-and-blue logo at the center of a nearly 300-foot Ferris wheel at the Meadowlands Xanadu mall without approval from the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority." I would request that you use your influence to convince Mr. Goldberg not to authorize use of Pepsi's logo as it will be an embarrassment to the State and a terrible nuisance to local residents. As your constituent, I strongly urge you to help spurn this construction. Please, Stop the Wheel before it's too late!
